Hiiii, I’m Katelyn!
I was born and raised in Ocala, Florida! Although I'm a big fan of small-town life, I love to travel, adventure, and have a good night out on the town. I'm an enneagram seven, which means I'm an enthusiast. "Sevens are extroverted, optimistic, versatile, and spontaneous." which feels pretty accurate. If my calendar is open & you want to fly me somewhere tomorrow, I.will.be.there!!!! I consider myself a shy extravert. I'm not the life of the party, but I thrive on human interaction and conversation, which helps me to get to know my couples quickly & calm their nerves that come with getting your photos taken.
My adventure with photography started in 2012, during my senior year of high school. My friends liked my photos and started asking me to take their senior photos. What started as a dream to work as a travel photographer for National Geographic changed into an obsession with wedding photography. There have been lots of twists and turns in my photography journey, but in 2019, I officially started my business, and in 2021 I left my full-time job to pursue this dream!
I'm that annoying girl who always had a picture of what her wedding would be. To the point that my husband and I had a 5 month engagement because I always wanted to get married in March & didn't want to wait a whole other year to be his wife. I should mention that it came together perfectly. If you need tips, advice, or just someone to vent to when you get stressed, I am here!!!
